Bryggman designed residential buildings, employee canteens and other service buildings for Oy Wilhelm Schauman Ab plywood factories in Savonlinna, Jyväskylä and Joensuu.

In 1942–45, Bryggman planned an alteration to the town plan of Pääskylahti district in Savonlinna. Twenty-two villas and eleven industrially pre-fabricated semi-detached houses were built according to Bryggman’s town plan and architect Jorma Järvi’s building designs along the streets Tehtaankatu, Sorvarinkatu, Jontikantie and Iskontie, whereas Bryggman designed four similar semi-detached houses along Sorvarinkatu street. The weather-boarded single-storey houses were completed in 1942.

The floor plan is arranged in such a way that that the kitchen is on the north side and the bedroom and living room are on the southwest side of the house. The common sauna-laundry building built a few years later comprised two saunas of different size. Fan-like marks made by the plasterer’s trowel can be seen in the rendered façades of the building.

Bryggman also designed seven single-storey semi-detached houses on Leivonkatu and Kiurunkatu streets (1943–47). The narrow houses with one- or two-room-and-kitchen apartments have rendered façades and a simple low-pitched roof. They are stepped into the slope with large windows facing southwest towards the lake. Metsäkonttorintie street 11 and 13 are mono-roofed villas with rendered façades and four rooms and a kitchen. They were built in 1943 for the factory foremen.
