Tapiola Swimming Hall, completed in 1965, is one of the original public buildings of the Tapiola Garden City. The swimming hall was designed by architect Aarne Ervi, one of the principal architects of the Tapiola Garden City.
The swimming hall and its two outdoor pools are part of the cultural landscape of the Tapiola Garden City centre. The swimming hall is situated on the northern edge of the central pool. The window walls of the swimming hall open to the central pool, connecting the indoor and outdoor pools. The building is one of the most iconic Modernist sports venues in Finland.
