The concept of the Studio Puisto’s Ähtäri swimming pool project is to create a spa-like swimming hall, serving both tourists staying at the Ähtäri Resort, as well as local residents. The wood structures and a view to a lake will complete the architecture of the swimming hall.

 The main pool is 7.5 metres wide and 25 metres long. The building will include a pool dedicated to swimming lessons for children and a hydrotherapy pool, as well as a hot tub and a coldwater pool. The pool area will also have a sauna that will offer a viewpoint to a beautiful landscape.  

Due to its connection to the Hotel Mesikämmen, the Ähtäri swimming pool will complete the area and this way also be part of developing the Ähtäri area to attract more tourism. 

The Ähtäri Swimming Pool is set to be completed in December 2023 and opened to customers in early 2024.
